41st San Francisco Jazz Festival
A successful performance, characterized by Oscar Peñas’ masterful guitar solos and the band’s infectious energy, sold out in 2022. This impressive feat has earned him an invitation to return and perform at the prestigious Annual San Francisco Jazz Festival (Jun 5 – 16), which is celebrating its 41st anniversary this year.
Peñas is thrilled to share the stage with a stellar lineup of jazz luminaries, offering a diverse range of 40 shows over 12 days in 4 venues. The festival boasts performances by renowned artists such as Shabaka Hutchings, Gary Bartz NTU Troop with Ambrose Akinmusire, Kenny Garrett, Jane Monheit, GoGo Penguin, Cory Henry, La Doña, Monty Alexander, Lakecia Benjamin, James Brandon Lewis Trio, Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band, John Santos’ tribute to Jerry & Andy Gonzales, René Marie’s Harry Belafonte Tribute, and an all-star centennial celebration of Oscar Peterson with Kenny Barron, Benny Green, the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra & more!
