Voices Up! Music for Voice and String Trio

A concert featuring string trios from three eras–classical, modern, and contemporary–and music for voice and string trio. Three of the works on the program are premieres: vocal works with trio by David Wolfson and Laura Jobin-Acosta and a new string trio by Lawrence Kramer. The other string trios on the program are by Franz Schubert and Gideon Klein. Fordham University’s spring Voices Up concerts have presented new works by a wide range of today’s composers since 2009.
