Oceans at War – Israeli Artists Exploring Conflict

Choreographer Igal Perry and composer Amit Weiner explore currents of conflict in their Israeli heritage through an imaginative new work.

Peridance Contemporary Dance Company (PCDC) will premiere an innovative collaborative work between its Artistic Director and choreographer Igal Perry and composer Amit Weiner in five performances from March 20-28, 2021 for over 700 audience members. For this project, Weiner and Perry will draw inspiration from their life experience as natives of a country in constant conflict. Together, they will explore the meaning music and dance can have within a context of war, and the real transformation they can bring to human relationships.
