Founded in 2016 and organized annually by Juventas New Music Ensemble, the Boston New Music Festival (BNMF) showcases Boston’s new music community through performances, events, and symposia. The BNMF also serves as a vital gateway for audiences to immerse themselves in today’s most innovative contemporary classical music while connecting them to new ensembles and performers–both of which help strengthen the region’s music community. Additionally, the BNMF advances Juventas’ mission of performing the works of emerging composers and promoting new music as repertoire.
The Boston New Music Festival strengthens Boston’s vibrant musical ecosystem and fosters the city’s reputation as the epicenter of new music. BNMF showcases the brightest emerging composers of our time as well as the incredible music community in Boston that is bringing contemporary classical music to life.
