With humble beginnings in a Prospect Heights dive bar, Brooklyn Raga Massive has expanded exponentially over the past five years cultivating a growing community of creative musicians and devoted fans.

In the fall of 2019, Brooklyn Raga Massive and the Go:Organic Orchestra released Ragmala a triple LP recording that explored the nexus between Indian Classical Raga and large ensemble creative music.
As the project evolves, our goal now is to create new music for this large ensemble and capture the live experience on audio and video. We we aim to provide Bergamaschi with concert footage of the highest quality so that this music can reach the maximum amount of people with the strongest representation. To do this will require an evening of live performance, with proper sound and multiple camera video recording. The concert will take place at Roulette Intermedium in downtown Brooklyn in the Fall of 2020. It will require new compositions, several days of rehearsals, sectional workshops, a recording engineer and several camera operators.
The new work will be the centerpiece of the documentary film that Raphael Bergamaschi has already begun creating. The final cut will be April 2021.
