INVISIBLE NATION tells the story of Taiwan’s struggle for human rights, democracy and inclusion in the international community through characters who have devoted their lives to their country, including Taiwan’s first female president Tsai Ing-wen. It is the story of how the international relations and foreign policy decisions made within the global community and between the U.S. and China, have directly impacted the lives of the 23 million people of Taiwan, who wish to have more say and agency in how their country is treated on the world stage.
