Frank J. Oteri is an ASCAP-award winning composer and music journalist. Among his compositions are Already Yesterday or Still Tomorrow for orchestra, the "performance oratorio" MACHUNAS, the 1/4-tone sax quartet Fair and Balanced?, and the 1/6-tone rock band suite Imagined Overtures. His compositions are represented by Black Tea Music. Oteri is the Vice President of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) and is Composer Advocate at New Music USA where he has been the Editor of its web magazine, NewMusicBox.org, since its founding in 1999.

While in a previous post I alluded to the fact that the American Music Center will be moving its offices, the move is now happening at the end of next week. Aside from all the furniture, books, recordings, files, you name it, that need to be boxed up etc., the servers for our websites also need to be moved. While AMC’s websites will remain online during this time, new content should not be added while we execute and test this transfer. Therefore we are putting Chatter on a brief hiatus and advise you to hold your comments until further notice. We are sorry for this temporary inconvenience.
