A program of songs meant to highlight the diversity of voices in today’s classical music. Soprano Shanelle Woods and pianist Helen Lin will perform powerful and evocative song cycles by Alice Ping Yee Ho, Gabriela Lena Frank, Lawrence Kramer, and Robert Owen. Founded in 2009, Fordham’s Voices Up! concert series seeks to brings new music and poetry together and to provide a platform at Lincoln Center for expressive and innovative new music for voice.
