Twin Cities Quartet is a newer working band centered on entirely unrecorded repertoire. The compositions lean toward a modern jazz language while blending elements of avant-garde improvisation and folk-influenced melody and form. The group was assembled around strong individual artistic voices, and the music is written to allow each personality to shape the direction of every performance.
