The Periodic Table
Composer Jessi Harvey merges the worlds of music, chemistry, literature, and cultural memory, in a singular musical translation of The Periodic Table, the magnum opus of Italian chemist and author, Primo Levi. Performed by local, award-winning pianist Jessica Andrews-Hall, the piano combined with visuals and sound design create a story of survival, a contemplation of identity, and an exploration of the elements that build a life.
This concert is made possible by the Seattle Symphony Orchestra’s Community Engagement Fund, Octave 9 Artist in Residence.
