Persistence Commissions

You are invited to the premiere of my piece “A Landscape Variant” for flute, clarinet, viola, cello, & piano in Collide-O-Scope Music’s Persistence Festival Sunday, June 26th, 4pm, Christ & St Stephen’s Church at 120 W 69th St., NYC. It will be performed by Laura Cocks, flute, Madison Greenstone, clarinet, Midori Witkowski, viola, John Popham, cello, and Augustus Arnon, piano.

Also on the program are works by Ven Zervignon, Gene Pritsker, Christopher Bailey, and Christopher Buchenholz.

From the Artistic Director Augustus Arnone: …”When the pandemic hit, I announced a call for proposals for new works to be written for the group. The idea behind it was to give composers something to work towards and look forward to during the time of quarantine and social distance. It was not possible to present this concert last season, and so we present it now as a celebration of the return to concert life…”
