Sound and Memory (www.soundandmemory.com) presents a live music program and workshop exploring green burial practices and eco-friendly rituals. Led by End of Life Doula, Violinist and Music Composer Concetta Abbate. In this program we will discuss the value of cemeteries as green community spaces, cultural centers and historical sites. We will learn what eco burial options are available at Maple Grove Cemetery (Queens, NYC) and we will explore our philosophical connections to nature through life and death.
