    02:00 pm

During manos Percussion Group’s 250th‑anniversary celebration of American music, Maria Flurry, Bensen Kwan, and Joshua Ferrell showcase the nation’s rich creative tapestry through jazz, classical, ambient, and ragtime soundscapes. Performing on marimba, steel pan, vibraphone, and drum set, the trio brings to life works by iconic American composers including Scott Joplin, Conni Ellisor, and George Hamilton Green.

The Kiwanis Amphitheater is a simple, open‑air gathering place surrounded by pines and junipers, well‑suited for music performances, talks, and community events.  The architecture creates a space for people to gather and listen. From the terraced seats, you can see manzanita and the vertical lines of ponderosa trunks. Sound carries cleanly in the bowl of the terrain, with the trees acting as a soft boundary and backdrop.

Performances are at 2:00 and 7:00 PM
