Manicburg and Friends play Lucky 13 Saloon, Gowanus

Brainchild of composers Raymond J. Lustig and Luigi Porto, who met at Juilliard, Northern Manhattan alternative rock quintet Manicburg “seems to extend across the Hudson and over the Big Apple in a sweetly dark and art deco fashion” (Sodapop). “intricately layered songs that pulse with depth and atmospheric richness” (It’s Psychedelic Baby), “a theatrical fresco of an urban society shattered by neurosis and collapse of certainties” (Distorsioni).  Manicburg will be joined by exceptional friends Everstill, Killer Film, and Empirical Matador.
