Let It Be Said

‘Let it be Said ‘spoken word project features writer Miesha Lowery, performers/narrators Jada Lane, Mohammad Rohaizad Suaidi, clarinetist Katherine Repka and vibraphonist Michael Barranco. As part of our 30th anniversary concert season, this project will be also presented at Le Mondo in Baltimore on February 25.

From the writer’s pen: “’Let It Be Said’ is a mixed bag of ingredients, a sprinkle of mundane, a tablespoon of thoughtfulness, a dash of wisdom, a teaspoon of love, and a quarter of a cup of the daily grind. I created a realistic short story broken up into spoken words, and the Baltimore Composers Forum brought it to life from their inspiration. ‘Let It Be Said’ is the epitome of fleeting thoughts, moments, and whispered feelings.”
