Jazz @ The Playhouse: Ryan Cross
Ryan Cross, an accomplished jazz bassist, cellist, and composer, brings his exceptional talents back to the Sierra Madre Playhouse stage on May 17 with his band. A Grammy-recognized musician who has performed and recorded with legends like Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, and John Legend, Ryan’s mastery of jazz and wide-ranging versatility make his performances dynamic and unforgettable. Having appeared on over 100 TV shows and films, Ryan’s influence extends across music and entertainment. Cross received Grammy recognition for playing bass on Beyoncé’s Grammy Award–winning album Lemonade. He has also graced the recording studio and stage with Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Michael Bublé, Meghan Trainor, Arturo Sandoval, Natalie Cole, Jill Scott, Macy Gray, Gladys Knight, and Chaka Khan, among others.
