Levy, PRISM’s founding tenor saxophonist, writes, “PRISM is thrilled to present a free program of world and regional premieres to our fans in Philly as a gift for their ongoing support, especially over the recent and difficult years of the pandemic. The composers represent many perspectives, traditions, and ways of creating music that connect us to one another by exploring our shared human experiences. The program covers an expansive range of musical terrain, showcasing PRISM’s ability to move between styles, with composers drawing on everything from Venezuelan Joropo, post-minimalism, free jazz, and more. ”
