A LISTEN Project Premiere: “Questions for a Poem”
Intersection presents their next LISTEN piece: “Questions for a Poem,” a new composition by Jack Gjaja, a 2020-2021 Kaufman Music Center Luna Composition Lab Fellow. This world premiere is performed by contralto Gwendolyn Brown and filmed by Continuous Motion Productions at 21C Museum Hotel Nashville.
LISTEN is a multi-year initiative celebrating the voices of female-identifying, non-binary or gender non-conforming composers. 23 composers will be commissioned and paired with Intersection musicians to create new, original, solo works designed for young audiences: https://www.intersectionmusic.org/listen
